Why yes I definitely can. I'd jump off a bridge if he asked me. Kidding.
Anyway, tonight I say goodbye to another fandom after finally finishing Liar Game: The Final Stage.
I got lured into this by the sheer yummy-ness that is Matsuda Shota. I'm not going to lie it's all about the ikemen for me. I have grown to love Naive Nao but still I'll be missing Akiyama so so much!
And after all that Nao x Akiyama shipping I kept in the back of my mind, this was all I ended up with. Effectively woke me up this morning though.
Story-wise, well I really just wanted to see how they would "resolve" all the issues raised throughout the series and somehow it felt like this fell short and things just got resolved rather abruptly - a deus ex machina if you will.
Anyway, to you Nao, Akiyama, and the rest of the tortured Liar Game souls, I bid you farewell. I do commend Fukunaga for staying true to his nature 'til the end.
