Someone commented how he doesn't even look Filipino haha which is true if you ask me. Out of all the Arashi boys, Nino would be the closest in that respect (biases aside).
I wonder if he'll learn to speak Filipino. hehehehe
Messaged my close friend about this and she said:
okaaaay. no offense to filipinos but filipino men are not abnormally pretty (which I completely agree with. Trust me.)
However she did agree that we could totally imagine him saying KAMUSTA (how are you) or something. I wonder what MAHAL KITA (I love you) would sound like out of him. :DDD
Oh this amuses me so. Here I was saying how I've been missing a Junnie drama in awhile.
Okay back to crunch time. I'm running on almost no sleep since last week. I need the second week of March to come quick! I miss you ladies. *hugsss* Pray for my soul. It totally needs all the help it can get these days.

So his race plays a role in the development of his character (well they wouldn't have mentioned it if it wasn't important really hehe)

Matsumoto plays a half-Filipino whose father has died and mother has disappeared. Despite his misfortune and the issues he deals with, such as race, he lives his life positively with a constant smile.
I am now certainly intrigued with what they plan to portray.
And yes I join the hundreds of Pinay fangirls who wonder if he'll do "research" here. haha We can dream right? XD
