(no subject)
Okay, so it's been awhile since I posted and I have a very good reason. So Morgan, my new kitty, decided to go surfing on my laptop and it broke the power charger inside the socket. Erica pulled out the remaining piece and it took awhile before I was able to order a new AC/DC charger. So last week I ordered the new piece and tried to charge my poor laptop, but nothing happened. So now I have to get the port checked out by taking the laptop apart and possibly reattaching the power socket to the motherboard.
In the meantime, and possibly for the rest of the time, I've moved my desktop into the main room and hooked it up to my internet. So no, I didn't fall of the face of the earth, and am back on the intertubes.
So, I didn't get fired from work (Yay!) but we did lose four people. I've been promoted to advertising and now do the tv commercial production and keep everyone on the schedule for radio and web advertising as well. And I do the distribution throughout the state and other fun things. I'm a little swamped, but I'm just glad to still be there. Maybe I'll get a raise? Our PR Manager is taking over the Assistant Director of Marketing so I'm helping her do alot of the PR stuff as well. It's pretty much an education in itself now. I figure three to five years of this and I'll be more than ready to move on to another city.
Mia is moving back to Montgomery! Yeppers, that's right, I have a new room mate! *is very excited* I'm looking forward to you coming back up, Mia, you're an awesome room mate.
I have to post pictures soon of my new kitty and her friend, Selena, Erica's kitty who's still here. Erica has gone back to Jasper but hopefully will be back when production picks up at ASF.
Anyways, that's all for now. I'm just glad to be back on the internet and be able to sit on my couch and surf the web again.
Oh, and I must get an X-Box 360. I am addicted to Assassin's Creed.
