Summer so far...
The Vacation started after my annoying geography class ended, and its still going by wuite nicely. I would only get bothered because there were many thunderstorms that happened and I didnt want to go outside.
I have been spending time with friends. Unfortunatley, not as much as I have in say, WINTR/SPRNG semester..but Its all good. Im doing what I can to call my friends that I havent talked to in a while. Its a good thing.
And get ready for this one: Nadine might be getting a job! GASP! Thanks to Jeff and Sam, they intoduced me to Robin who is one of the heads of Mckenny and Campus Life..she might need someone to work at the Info desk in the summer. So I filled my application,got everything done (references, etc.)and I am just waiting on her response. So Im really excited about that. Plus- It would be my first job ever. I have always volunteered in the past, so I wont be totally oblivious, but it doesnt hurt to get paid so Im totally going for it.
I am seriously reading a book- and Loving it. Which is really nice. "French Women dont get fat" is the title- and its a fabulous book.
My sister and I FINALLY got a hold of the Secret garden ( the 1993 version) Which is just The Best movie to ever be made. Its just amazing.
Also, my sister and I went for a jog which turned out to be a run. We went through the woods and noticed there was this HUGE guy approaching us- he looked like the bad guy from Mulan.. So we ran for our lives and poor Zahra, she got these two deep cuts across her stomach..but its kinda cool in the sense that behind that cut is a pretty cool sotry- I think.
Thanks to the 4th of July- I couldnt sleep last night, so Im pretty excited about that.
And I have been spending more time with my mom which is great. Its goin great so far, so my fingers are crossed that it will remain thrilling
