Man, it's been a while! Uh. Where to begin...
Well, first of all, my story "Trail of Sawdust" is now up at
5923 Quarterly. Yay! Go read it. There are robots.
Secondly, I made a book called Gouts of Angry Mist, which is a collection of two experimental short stories. If you want one, and you do, it's $5.
Thirdly, I went to Graceland and loved, loved, LOVED it. Elvis was the tackiest man in Christendom, but since I actually like tackiness, I had a ball there. And Stacy was kind enough to humor me and my often-disgusting turns of phrase, so thumbs up to her for being a lovely host. I also bought a shirt that has "ELVIS" written in sparkly blue letters across the back. I had to, I really did.
I also took in another fantastic Ring of Honor pro wrestling show in Richmond, VA, which I will review when I have some more free time.
Now that I'm back in Bawlmer, classes and work have begun in earnest, so I'll be taking in lectures about various writing/publishing ephemera and writing...ugh...poetry. Both my classes should be pretty fun, and my workload shouldn't be as insane as previous semesters.
I've also given up dating, which has turned out to be an awesome decision. I should've done this a year ago. A major source of stress has been removed.
I think that's it. Any questions? Keep in mind that you'll be quizzed on this material.
