Today i finally talked to Ms Weedlin about the Down Syndrome fundraiser. It got approved, finallyy, and now its a rush to get everything ready AKA make posters, find people to sell at lunches, write up an announcement, etc. I also talked to Ms Pearsall today and she gave me info on the Down Syndrome Resource Network of Howard County and i think that's where the money's going to go. Instead of sending it to the DS Society or DS Congress which would go more towards legislations and research, this money will go basically straight to the kids. Its a really cool group and i'm really excited about it. I'm kind of worried because i think that a lot of people won't understand because it doesn't hit close to home for them... But hopefully they'll take the time to ask. Hey, if you're reading this and you go to Howard and would be willing to help during any lunch shifts or anything, pleaseee let me know because i desperately need help. Right now i've got me and Kim lol Apparently Mr Levy doesn't have enough faith in me that i can pull everything together, so i've got to prove him otherwise ;) I'm excited tho! Please keep your fingers crossed and pary that everything turns out ok/ comes together.
