hmmm... gotta do that again
oh the joys of going out and having a good time.
last night started with an enjoyable excursion to a play put on by my former high school with my sister as the stage manager... Dracula...I had a great time! The set was gorgeous (kudos to my friend who designed it)... the costumes were great (kudos to my mom who designed some of them) and the lighting was very authentic (again, Kudos to one of my friends... he did a good job). The acting wasn't GREAT, but it certainly wasn't the worst I have ever seen in a high school show, so over all I would give the performance two thumbs up! And I see a lot of shows, some professional, some not so much, and the high school did a better job than some of the pro shows I have seen lol
Following the show my friend Joel and I went to Magnums (a club in town) where we had some appies and some drinks before we headed upstairs to dance the rest of the night away. It was great! When we got upstairs the place was completely dead, and I'm talking DEAD. So we sat on a bench and watched cuties walk past, had more drinks, and chatted it up with friends of his.
Then the place started to heat up so we grabbed our drinks and headed down to the dance floor. Not long after wards I saw a god among men ~laughs~ (an old friend of mine who is just gorgeous!) we both ran over to him and I refused to let him go, mind you he wouldn't let me go either, so this is always encouraging hehe.
We hung out there for a while more, drinking, doing shots, dancing, and generally having a great time before we headed back to my friends place. There he cooked me some great hot dogs and we sat down to watch Notorious C.H.O. Now that is a funny lady! hehe.
Finally I hauled my tired lil ass back home and fell asleep.
Damned it was a good night.
