Well, I'm already working on filling this, but I'll prompt it anyway: Sam splits and gets out of the life but things don't go as planned and he winds up in a dead-end job at a coffee shop. Dean periodically sneaks into town and sits at the coffee shop across the street, instead, so he can check up on his little brother. He just can't make himself cross the street and close the distance between them.

So there are all those stories where the customer comes in all the time because they've got a crush on the barista and are too shy to do anything more forward about it. But this is Supernatural. Maybe instead of the crush the barista expects, it's one of Azazel's minions checking up on a psychic kid, a hunter tracking a secretmonster!barista (or vice versa), an angel with Plans, etc.

Take it wherever but keep it heavy on the realism!
