I loved this. Kind of depressing... but it was wonderful. At least he got to sleep with her several times... and they love each other. It was awesome!

You write an excellent Meg and Castiel, and I'd be thrilled if this story became a verse. Love the idea of the angel's lost grace sparking off a zombie apocalypse, and functionally human Meg remaining essentially the same person.

Oh, and these lines: "I want to go out with a bang, not a whimper."

Castiel held his hand against her cheek. "I would expect nothing less from you," he said.
