Very cool. You perfectly captured the mood between the brothers this season. The hunt was also perfectly fitting to the show as well. This could have been a real ep.

OT:We actually have a 'cry baby bridge' where I'm from, but I didn't know that's what they were called or that it was a widespread urban legend. Huh.

Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it. Was surprisingly fun to write for Season 7.

Oh, yes, definitely a wide-spread urban legend. Some folks call it a cry baby bridge (crybaby bridge), cry baby hollow, baby bridge, cry baby lane. I remember when I was a little girl, and we'd visit my kin in northern MS, my dad would tell me these stories, about Cry Baby Bridge and The Spiral Staircase and The Chain Rattler (at the slave cemetery). I was just riding past the Belmont Hotel this weekend and couldn't help but picture Sam and Dean there...And it's really for sale, has been for ages. I'd love to buy it ;) And now I'm rambling, sorry.

Again, thank you for the review, Lolaann--I love to hear from a fellow ff writer whose work I respect so much :)

This is a very cool casefic, creepy and interesting and hits the right tone of desperation and endurance that I saw in the Winchesters on Show. Very good story!
