Artpost for "Falling Into Place" by CA_Pierson (SG-A, AU, WIPBigBang)
Since I decided not to participate as an author in the WIPBigBang this year, I chose to do artwork for three stories. All of them were lovely, and the authors were fun to work with. This first story was a Stargate Atlantis AU story by CA_Pierson, featuring John/Rodney and adorable kiddos.

Summary: Staring up at the child welfare building, John barely feels the freezing wind as it bites at the bare skin of his neck.
He can still hear the voice of the officer who had called him. “Robbery” and “there was nothing the doctors could do” keep repeating over and over in his head. Nothing else stayed behind from what his phone claims was a ten minute conversation. It doesn’t really matter.
For the artwork, I used a few of those lovely Hubble space images in honor of Atlantis, even though the story itself is set on Earth. The silhouettes were created using images found online of random people, then edited slightly to fit the characters in the story a bit better. The ones in the "End" banner were make from Stargate Atlantis screencaps. The text is called "Bright Young things" (see, I do occasionally remember these things!)
