I'm in the open again.

I spent Easter at work. I cleaned out the baking ovens really good and also straightened up the stock in the walk in fridge. I couldn't believe how many empty boxes I threw out when I condensed everything. At first when I was there, I didn't want to be there. However, when I decided that I could do things that needed to be done for awhile, I've felt better. Sometimes it doesn't matter that I don't get paid enough, or don't work that many hours because I can make things a bit better. Judy's going to like that I cleaned out the ovens. They're huge ovens that you can just walk into. Oh, and I also wore street clothes today because we didn't have to wear a uniform on a holiday. It was fun, and everything went well. I was able to close down the deli at 8 o'clock.

I feel good for some reason. I don't want this to change. I'm watching Coldcase, too, but nothing can top last week's episode.

Oh, there's this new girl that works at Verison next to Food Lion. My goal is to meet her Tuesday when I go back to work, and see if she wants to hook up sometime. I've been seeing her around, she'd walk by me and smile. Short brown hair down to her chin, studded belt, and a walk of confidence. She's got it all as it seems. I admit, I haven't seen any girls like her since I've been to Philly. So I'm looking forward to Tuesday. If she's got a boyfriend or whatever, I'm just going to make a new friend. Someone to talk to anyway since Karen quit the Dollar Store. The way things spread at work, it's cool to talk to someone who works near my store, because they won't tell a damn thing to anyone inside food lion because they don't know them.

I'm going to watch the rest of Coldcase.
