Summary: Marui finds new prey.
Rating: G

Ryoma had once again escaped to the quiet of the roof, this time with a tray of dinner. He'd only eaten half of his sandwich before starting to doze off, back to the wall preventing people from tumbling over the edge.

How cute.

From atop a smoke stack, dark eyes watched the teen below. They were, by turns, both annoyed and interested. Interested, because Ryoma looked oh so tasty, and mostly annoyed because no matter how tasty the boy looked, he was still too damn skinny to be a filling meal.

Startling from his doze as a mosquito landed on his arm, Ryoma smooshed it and rubbed his hand clean with his napkin. Gross. Yawning, he sat up and stretched, his arms reaching up to grab the air over his head and making his shirt ride up to briefly reveal a trim belly. He had the strangest sensation of being watched and he tensed, though he didn't see anyone else on the roof with him. He listened for a minute, but after hearing nothing but the sounds of traffic below he relaxed his guard to once more lean back against the wall, debating whether to eat the other half of his sandwich.

Crouching, the werecat on the prowl watched in silence. Sharp eyes noted every movement, each tiny detail, and his mouth watered over the flesh revealed with a well-timed stretch of limbs. It watered even more when a shift of the wind brought to his nose the unmistakable scent of roast beef.

His whiskers twitched, tail writhing in time to the sudden rumbling in his belly. Dearest Bast, that smelled so good, and he was so very hungry. And it did seem like Ryoma was a paltry substitute when there was real food for the taking
