So last Saturday Dave, Helen, Dante and I went to Sin, it was Dave's First Goth Night Out, which required shopping to get him some clothes (fun fact: Dave takes longer to decide on clothes that the average female, even with three people telling him that it looks good and he should buy it). It also involved crazy make-up and hair, which was the fun bit. We arrived about 10pm to a handful of drunk goths and acclimatised ourselves to the heavy bass and all the glowing furniture and when the DJ shifted from Nick Cave (which I was quite ecstatic about) to more danceable material we got up and raved (all except for Helen who wasn't in the mood to dance but instead got hit on by coked up weirdos ^_^). By midnight the place was packed with corsets, spikes, platform shoes and awesome hair. We found Simon in a sea of goths and he proceeded to do his awesome/crazy dance and provide us with strange cocktails...
And yes there was the token guy who brought along poetry, he started a recital in the smoking area until a bunch of people started yelling "GOTH! GOOOOOTTTTTTTTTTTTHHHHHHHHH!" and he put it away. I love my clubbing peers.
I have decided to take a camera with me to the next Sin, the establishment doesn't mind and neither do the cam-happy goths. XD
