On Saturday Yamato held a concert in Warsaw. They were awesome though I must admit I enjoyed 2005 concert a bit more. Mostly because 2 years ago the songs were played on a wider range of Japanese instruments, not only drums&percussion, and it created a truly haunting atmosphere *__*. This time, since the tour name is SHIN ON(RHYTHM ON), they focused heavily on really difficult and exhausting perfomances - the live was definitely fuller of energy than the previous one. They also used some old gags to entertain the audience, but it was still hilarious to watch ^^.
Since I like to be high on drama, here's my comment about SKIN i.e. Super Kinky Infamous Nerds (Nihonjins?).
1. The idea of Miyavi joining the band is so hilarious that I even like it. It's like Paris Hilton being their dancer and that's what I would actually like to see :P
2. If they want to be successful in getting fans from every corner of jrock fandom, they only lack Toshiya in the line-up :D . Imagine the wanking, owww *_______*
Mick Karn also wouldn't be a bad choice :) He's already played with kirito, so why not make the band at least a lil' bit international?
But if their aim is to conquer the worldwide market, as Gackt once said, I suggest him to improve his pronounciation. Really fast.
3. The only thing that really bothers me is their name. It's waaaaaaaay too lousy. The first and only Skin I can think of is the vocalist of Skunk Anansie. Couldn't they think of something more original?
I still believe their name should be sth along the lines of GaYoSuMi. With GAYSM as the proper abbreviation. Add some punctuation mark because we all know Japs love to make our life harder ->>> ★GAY-SM☆,,
Or ORGAySM for yaoi-hungered gals :).
4. (42+38+34+25)= 34 years 9 months <-- average age of SKIN members :3
