a few minutes to breathe before the madness starts again
Got back from Pennsic a week ago and I've been catching up on laundry ever since. I just finished the last load yesterday and I still haven't ironed all the new fabric I bought. Yards of navy blue and brown linen. Jay is going to be so pretty! Although I probably won't sew again for a few more weeks. I spent the entire month of July sewing to get ready for this Pennsic.
Today is the engagement party, a sort of meet the family thing. His family and mine are coming over for a bbq. I have a few hours to kill before the grocery store opens and then I'll be super busy again.
So... back to Pennsic,
Jay caught the fighting bug and bought himself a shiny somewhat new (used) hat. And a bunch of rattan. And a shiny new shield for me. Yay, a T6! Now I'll be able to hold up my shield for more than 15 minutes at a time. Some weekend soonish we're going to have an armouring party and Trembrand will hammer out some new elbows for me. And hopefully my body armour will be done by then. We ordered it last february!
Anyhoo, that's all for now.
