I miss my kitty
This morning I dropped Spooky off at the vet to get fixed and declawed. It was a tough decision to make, having her declawed, but I think we'll all be much happier when she isn't tearing up the furniture or diggging into peoples' legs.
She's still at the animal hospital and will be until Saturday afternoon. It was very strange not seeing her when I got home from work. She usually greets me at the door. And it will be weird not having her sleeping at my feet tonight. She must be so lonely at the hospital. Poor little thing. Hopefully they have her well sedated.
I like this animal hospital very much. The vet is a super nice woman. My manager also brings his cat there.
It's funny how people love talking about their pets as if they were children. I have no idea if Paul has kids but I now know all about his cat.
Ah well, I'm sure she's fine. I'll call the vet tomorow to check and see how the surgery went.
And now it's time for tea and cookies.
