needed a seperate posting for this one
Hammering out the details of our trip to New Jersey in 2 weeks with tradesman. I'm getting really excited about it. Friday is going to be spent entirely in New York city!!! Hooray.
So far, the plan seems to be
~ visit the Statue of Liberty at 8:30am
~ make our way to Manhattan by way of subway
~ see Grand central station
~ have coffee in Greenwich village
~ cab it to central park (cause you have to experience a new york city cab at least once in your life no?)
~ stop at the empire state building on the way
~ visit the largest liquor store ever (woohoo)
~ geez, so many other places I want to see.... St Patrick's cathedral, the library, the met.... not sure if I'll get to any of those but we'll try to fit in as many as we can.
~ by nightfall we'd like to be in Times Square. It should be gorgeous when it's all light up.
Saturday is the event in New Jersey and hanging out with Khavi, our gracious hostess.
Sunday might be a fight practice, might be some local sightseeing around NJ. Should be fun either way, don't usually get to see Khavi except at war.
Monday is the trip back home and Tuesday will be back to work.
