I know I'm not total crap at vidding but I also know there are people out there that blow my shit out of the water.

Dude, me too. I have one particularly Fucking Fantastic vidder on my flist that I know I could never hope to live up to, so I know it can be daunting. Not that it matters much now with my shitty computer that has a heart attack when I open more than 10 tabs in FF. :/

So, you were stalking me? :D

NO. NOT AT ALL.
*leaps out of the bushes near your house*
*flees down the street*

Man, you need to get a new computer so I can actually see some of the projects you have festering in that brain of yours.

TELL ME ABOUT IT. Or hell, just one that doesn't creak over every fucking thing I do. But yeah, I have a ridiculously long list of vids I want to make, but the whole recession thing is making me nervous about spending money. I could put something on hire purchase, but I hate being in debt, and I'm still paying my tv off. On top of that I'm saving for my airfare to go to the US (a plan my friend and I have had for years now. She's doing summer school right now, which is why we couldn't come this year). I've got $740 saved at the moment, and it's about $1500 at the cheapest, so I'm getting there.

So yes, I'd love a new computer, but damn, it's just not happening. Short of my current PC just fucking dying on me. :(

at least Cameron is upfront about the lying.

True. John knows she lies, but she also does it for the good of their mission. Riley's just doing it to stop John and Cam gettin' it AWN. :P

It didn't draw in new viewers and fucked up with show's format for nothing.

Network Intervention: Yet Another Lesson On Why To Not Do It.

At least I'm spoiler free for Heroes but damn if I don't click on any link about TSCC. I HAVE A WEAKNESS.

OHHHHH. So I can't have a weakness for Heroes, but you can have one for SCC, HUH? HUH??!!?! Ok, well you don't constantly go on about how you're going to be spoiler free and then fuck it up, but still. Those are the kinds of feelings I'm fighting when it comes to resisting Heroes spoilers.

It's awesome squared. PRAISE SWEET BABY JESUS.

Hehe, totally.

I don't know where you heard it first, but I say it a hell of a lot. Because it's an awesome expression.

Awww. That’s sad. I’m so sorry. *pets you*

Your miracle shall come some day. And we shall rejoice. And then I’ll get out my slave whip and order you to vid your ass off.

Riley's just doing it to stop John and Cam gettin' it AWN. :P

I’m sorry but it’s because of my sheer laziness this mental image that it took me this long to respond. Good god that would be HOT. SIZZLING. SCORCHING. AND OTHER WORDS THAT CONVEY FIRE AND HEAT AND SEXIN’.

OHHHHH. So I can't have a weakness for Heroes, but you can have one for SCC, HUH? HUH

Yes.

Ok, well you don't constantly go on about how you're going to be spoiler free and then fuck it up, but still.

And that is why. I don’t make with the bragging so I don’t look like an epic failure when I fuck up. TAKE A LESSON FROM MY BOOK. Though in interest of full disclosure, I must say that a friend accidentally spoiled me a little bit for Heroes.

I know! Although, you do get used to it. When I get a new computer I'm going to be all, "Holy fucking shit, this is fast!". XD

And then I’ll get out my slave whip and order you to vid your ass off.

Dirty. But dude, I love vidding, you won't need to kick my butt. I want to, my computer will just literally NOT CO-OPERATE.

Good god that would be HOT. SIZZLING. SCORCHING. AND OTHER WORDS THAT CONVEY FIRE AND HEAT AND SEXIN’.

IKR? God, I want it to happen so badly. I don't give a fuck about it being "wrong", I just want John/Cam sexytimes, dammit!

Yes.

Hee! But honestly, I don't know whether my complete lack of ability to stay spoiler free means I love the show too much or not enough. Like, with VM I was able to stay away because the thought of spoiling it made me sad. But with Heroes I just love it so much I can't control myself. Oh, dilemma. I'm falling on the "love it too much" side, though.

I don’t make with the bragging so I don’t look like an epic failure when I fuck up. TAKE A LESSON FROM MY BOOK.

Well, I really do mean it every time I declare it for all to see. But then I see something new posted and I just can't stop myself clicking. But I haven't been to the TWoP spoiler thread, so that's good.

I must say that a friend accidentally spoiled me a little bit for Heroes.

So I'm going to be seeing a news story of a teenager having killed their friend for spoiling Heroes soon, right?

But hey, at least it was your friend and not you being unable to control yourself like me. Was it major and did you feel like throttling them, or was it just something general. OOOH, tell me what character it was about.

Just wondering, did you read anything you wish you hadn't with the TV Guide article? Because I heard it was pretty spoilery about Sylar.

OK FINE. Since we're being all disclosure-y, I read a spoiler about what Sylar's father does for a job. I didn't mean to, I was at zqfans and I read it in the comments.
*flinches*

That was definitely my reaction when I got a new computer. But now I’m getting use to the faster speed so I’m not as impressed. Though it only takes me a second on a friend’s computer to go back and appreciate the awesomeness that is mine.

But dude, I love vidding, you won't need to kick my butt. I want to, my computer will just literally NOT CO-OPERATE.

Dude, this sucks. How many years worth of ideas do you have built-up?

God, I want it to happen so badly. I don't give a fuck about it being "wrong", I just want John/Cam sexytimes, dammit!

You’ve come so far from beating yourself up over shipping them to now wanting them to get down with the dirty. But fuck. Just give me a damn kiss. On the cheek! A hug! SOMETHING. ANYTHING. GIVE ME HOPE.

I don't know whether my complete lack of ability to stay spoiler free means I love the show too much or not enough.

I can tell easily for myself. It depends on how much I trip over myself to rush to click on the spoilers or how much willpower I have to resist reading. I know I love TSCC because I’m scrambling and I know I love Heroes because I’m resisting. If I can click on a spoiler with little thought then I know I’m not that passionate about a show.

So I'm going to be seeing a news story of a teenager having killed their friend for spoiling Heroes soon, right?

Hee! But no. It was by total accident and she’s awesome and I can only really be faux-angry at her.

OOOH, tell me what character it was about.

It was about THREE. Claire, Peter, and Nathan.

Just wondering, did you read anything you wish you hadn't with the TV Guide article

Nope. The little spoilers I read weren’t major and probably won’t hold up by the end of the episode. It just kind of described what the heroes are trying to do to be normal. And we know that goes to hell if for nothing else but the title of the volume.

OK FINE. Since we're being all disclosure-y, I read a spoiler about what Sylar's father does for a job. I didn't mean to, I was at zqfans and I read it in the comments.
*flinches*

I guess I can’t be mad if it was by accident. But seriously. You need to go on lockdown or something.

How many years worth of ideas do you have built-up?

Hmmm, depends how far back I wanna go. I've been obsessing over making vids as far back as Alias with Sark/Sydney, and that was about 2003. Then there was another big surge with VM around late-2005, and now Heroes. So... A WHILE. Although the problems with VM and Alias were more not having the room on my hard drive for all the episodes. I SHALL MAKE IT ONE DAY.

You’ve come so far from beating yourself up over shipping them to now wanting them to get down with the dirty.

I know. I'm so beyond over it now, bring on the making out. Who knows how much longer the show's gonna be on for, we need to get the ball rolling.

It was about THREE. Claire, Peter, and Nathan.

Ahhh, a spoiler to do with characters I don't care about together. Although I know you do, which is why I guess they brought it up in the first place.

The little spoilers I read weren’t major and probably won’t hold up by the end of the episode.

That's not too bad then. Although, now I totally want to go and read them. BUT I WON'T.

I guess I can’t be mad if it was by accident.

Yaaaaay.

You need to go on lockdown or something.

Yeah, I know. But at least they weren't super huge spoilers, because they were talking about stuff from the TV Guide. But as soon as I realised what they were discussing I was all "LALALA" *close tab*. Go me.

So... A WHILE.

Understatement. Holy crap. That's gotta be a long list. Just wow. New computer, stat.

I'm so beyond over it now, bring on the making out.

This probably amuses me just a little too much. It's like your own little character arc. NOW BRING ON THE SEXIN'

Although I know you do, which is why I guess they brought it up in the first place.

Pretty much. We were bitching about Nathan and what the fuck the writers were going to do with him and how his stupid plan fucks with his family and how it MAKES NO SENSE TO US. Our discussion started out all YAYNEWHEROESPROMO but dissolved into that bitchfest.

Although, now I totally want to go and read them.

One of them has Angela in it.

It is. I have them all written in a book.

OMG it's, like, my character development!

...And now I'm officially the biggest loser EVER.

Ok, so did the spoilers you heard at least make you feel any better? Or did they just make it worse?

One of them has Angela in it.

*wibbles*
Well, I tempted you into letting me tell you something, so I guess turnabout's fair play, huh? But no, I shall resist! For now.

Hey, don't say that. You character development made you support John/Cameron lovin'. There is nothing wrong with that!

Ok, so did the spoilers you heard at least make you feel any better?

Better....ish. It's kind of like "OMG YAAAAAAYYYYYBBUUUUT WHY?"

Well, I tempted you into letting me tell you something, so I guess turnabout's fair play, huh? But no, I shall resist!

Oh, c'mon it's not big! Much smaller than Aunt Lily being cast as Angela's friend.

How long is this listy book?

Well, it's a book I write random crap of all sorts in, but my vids pages number about 4-5.

You character development made you support John/Cameron lovin'. There is nothing wrong with that!

This is a good way to think about it. So I shall continue on in that vein.

It's kind of like "OMG YAAAAAAYYYYYBBUUUUT WHY?"

Well, it's better than stuff that makes you bash your head against the wall and make you doubt your love for the show.

Oh, c'mon it's not big! Much smaller than Aunt Lily being cast as Angela's friend.

Fine, I read it. OMG, So *that's* why Mohinder and Peter are all "READ TEH HRG'S MINNNDDDD". It makes a lot more sense now. Even if they aren't right about it.

But seriously, just reading that little bit made me flail HUGELY. Oh good lordy, I need to see this NOOWWWWWWW.
*flails more and cries in anticipation*
