TIESTO!!!!
So, Kellen's favorite artist of all time is DJ Tiesto. A very good techno/trance guy from norway or something. Well Tiesto and his company make a general rule that you have to be 21 to get into the shows. So kellen had resigned himseld to not seeing the shiw for another 2 1/2 years. BUUUUTTTt. Me being the great friend that I am found out about the only show (i believe) in the U.S. that you could be 18 and up. Since I had been unable to give him a proper birthay present back in March, I bought the tickets and surprised him with the news...
WELLLL, our trip to DC last night went like this.... 1 get lost in dc for 45 minutes because the directions sucked (as did the navaguesser at reading them... me haha) and the one street we needed to find, Patterson street, (where Fur is) doesn't have a freaking street sign to tell you what street it is. 2) Then we had spent another 1/2 hour trying to find parking and we ended up walking about 8ish blocks from union station which cost us $15 to park. 3) Then we got off to a rocky start as we were leaving the station but that bullshit was soon forgotten when we realized we really had no idea where we were going once we were finally in the right direction on our way to the club haha. 4) THE SHOW WAS A-FUCKING_MAZING!!!! I've never been to anything like it in my life and it kicked ass! There are no words. We were probably some of the few people there that weren't either A drinking, or B completely baked or tripping on E It was cool watching the people that were though. I saw andrew satton (sry i can't spell) and Owen and some other old annandalies, which was cool. I went up to andrew and gave him a big hug which was funny b/c i know he knew who I was, but he'd had a little much to drink already hahaha. I was really tired from having been up since 5 so we left around 1:45ish and headed back to the parking deck when lo and behold it started raining. We didn't get too wet b/c we made it back to the garage right as it started. Then we got mcdonalds and headed home. I fell asleep and kellen had to keep waking me up to ask me where to go it was funny.
We both had a really good time and I'm glad I went. I'm dead tired and wished I had taken the day off work but it was all deffinately worth it just to see the look on kelle's face when tiesto got on that stage. I couldn't have asked for a better reaction. lol
Well sadly it is time for me to get back to work.
