One day there was a young woman. She thought herself to be very pretty and quite likable. Going on with her life and enjoying herself quite well, she decided to join the military. Marine Corps to be exact. She went through Boot Camp and enjoyed the results when she graduated. Tears streaming down her cheeks as her Platoon Sgt. placed the emblem into her palm, she felt proud. We'll call her Andrews. It is her last name.
Andrews went on to hurt her hip in further training. About 1 month into rehab in North Carolina, she met a handsome young man about her age. He was tall, dark, and very smart. His body made her quiver when she set eyes on him. He would wave to her and stop and chat anytime he saw her. The turned out to be great friends. Moving on to more than friends suddenly one day, 6 days before her birthday, only 4 months after meeting, he proposed. In the most romantic way as well. Her eyes began to mist as she {without thinking} said yes to him. They hugged and made amazing love to each other all night in the musty old hotel room.
7 months after being proposed to, Andrews was walking down the aisle towards her husband-to-be. He looked stunning, she looked exquisit. They exchanged vows and kissed their wedding to a beautiful end.
Just over one year later, she found herself pregnant. The newlyweds, we'll call them the Rapala's, were going to be parents. Scared, yet excited, they made a home for themselves and lived out of state.
Their beautiful little daughter was born to them, the month of July. She had a handsome head of black hair, and the biggest brown eyes. Her little fingers wrapped around mommy just hours after being born. Little smiles filled the rooms from then on. Everything was going just perfectly.
Then, one day, they decided that it was financially too hard for them to continue the life they were living. Unfortunately, the next move they made, was not a wise one.
Now, the Rapala's and their little girl, live in a small town in Maine. Just 45 minutes from the coast of the Atlantic. Maiden Andrews finds her mind lingering back to the days they decided Ohio wasn't good enough anymore. She misses those days. Wishes she could go back to them. It's nice being close to family and friends, but she misses the solitude and the quietness of it all. She misses the friends she made while making her new life in Ohio. Maiden Andrews dreams often of getting her life back in Ohio.
Though, the in-laws would just have to go. Maiden Andrews would not put up with more of their garbage.
Loving the thoughts of Ohio, she wishes to go back there and get away from people in her life that try to stress her out and hold mindless, meaningless grudges. To get away from the accusations. In Ohio there were no accusations. It was simple to cut everyone off when she didn't want to be disturbed. Here in Maine it is different. Everyone seems to know everything. Maiden Andrews is getting tired.
Is there no end to the maddness? Is there going to be peace? She thought not. No. There will be no peace. Never will be. She will just have to worm her way out and away from it all person by person. It will happen. Eventually. She just has to find the right approach at doing so.
Maiden Andrews continued to dream as her life rolled by. Dreaming of a better future, of a better present. Of better people in her life. ... It will happen. Eventually.
