Weekend!

How is it the middle of July already? I still feel like I've just arrived, anxious to make plans and make the most out of my time here. But in reality, this is my fourth month here. I can't wrap my head around it, it's been such a blast.

Are you guys playing Pokémon GO? Is it fun? I wouldn't know. It hasn't been released here yet. And the game nodes aren't activated for Japan yet, so even if I download from the Norwegian App Store, there won't be any Pokémon available for me to catch. I AM SURPRISINGLY UPSET ABOUT THIS. I have been playing Pokémon Green to calm my tits while waiting for official release.

I have so many friends, acquaintances, and family coming over these next months. Even an old co-worker and his wife! They've asked me if I want to hang out and guide them around some, which, sure! I suspect my summer will be very busy. I can't wait! Hopefully I won't burn out.

Christian and I went to Kamakura yesterday. I haven't been there in ages, it's so touristy, but so fun! I really feel like we did the whole tour, we walked along the beach, went and saw the Daibutsu, went on a short mountain hike, walked the main shopping street, had shirasu don for dinner, and watched the sunset from the beach. It was an absolutely perfect day!

Here's a selection of pictures from my weekend.

Btw, in my Tanabata entry I mentioned that the Kappa snatched a stroller with a kid in it? Turns out Christian got a picture of this. The mother's expression! I can't stop laughing. This guy was so creepy!
