Weekend!

House planning stuff has calmed down, so it was time to enjoy my weekend! I decided to sleep in and then head on over to the ongoing Sailor Moon exhibit in Roppongi. The exhibit is up until June, but some of the exhibits will change throughout the run of the show

Sailor Moon played the same role for me! I remember watching a lot of the first 3 seasons of anime, but not much of the 4th, and we didn't get Stars because I guess the American company found the Sailor Starlights too hard to explain at the time. (Nowadays I think it'd be an easier sell and you wouldn't have to lie and say Haruka and Michiru were cousins.) We DID get Stars the manga, though. I knew about all the real stuff and good stuff because of the internet though haha. Oh man I am about to go down a very nostalgic road, so I will refrain...

OMG I used to play that fighting game on an emulator on my computer! I loved it. I also played an English fan translation of Another Story but never completed it.

I used to listen to the songs from the musicals a lot, but I've never actually seen the dancing and such that goes along with it haha I'm sure Youtube can help me.

You chose some great postcards. The one with the little thin side-by-side images of all 10 senshi with doilies in the background was a favorite of mine always. I would've legit had to be careful not to max out my credit card at that gift shop!

Mercury was my favorite as a kid, but I always liked Mars too because she was brash and funny. What a fun exhibit overall, I'd love to go to it! Can it tour the US next??? Hahaha
