It's been nearly a week since my last post? Time for a fly-by so I won't forget what I've been up to!
* Friday I went to Disneyland after work! I got to the park at around 3pm, but I got to do a lot more than I thought I would be able to! I'm slowly trying to convert my tumblr to a Tokyo Disney Resort blog, I'll do my best to keep uploading my Disney pictures there.
* Saturday, I went apartment viewing! I didn't know what to expect, but this turned into a super casual meetup, I walked away feeling like I'd made a new friend. Is this how you're supposed to feel about your real estate agent? I saw 5 different apartments in a few different areas of Tokyo. I spent 8 hours with the real estate agent, we even had dinner together! Is this normal? Hahaha. There were a few promising leads, but I'm still looking. I'm going apartment viewing with a different real estate agent this Saturday. Fingers crossed!
* Sunday, Tomoya had the day off and wanted to play. I was introduced to Ueda, a friend of his. We were originally just meeting up for lunch, but we ended up spending the whole day together. We did lunch first (burgers at Blacows in Ebisu, Tomoya kept saying this was the best burger in the world, but I somehow didn't believe him. We lined up outside the store for half an hour before we even got in, I still didn't really believe him. Then I took a bite of my burger, and.... yeah. It was the best burger I've ever had. Ever. I neeeeeed to go back there), we were still just getting to know each other, and we didn't feel like saying goodbye just yet, so we went to Shibuya and did two games of bowling (my arms and back are STILL sore from this!!!), we still felt like hanging out, so we went and did karaoke as well.
Then Ueda had to go, but Tomoya and I went and had dinner at an amazing Nepali curry place. Tomoya is really good friends with the owners, so we got some appetisers for free O_O;; The portions were huge, I had to take the rest of my curry home XD;;; It made for amazing lunch the next day, THANKS, TOMOYA!
* Weekdays have mostly been spent working. Work is work. I'm hoping to score some larger projects soon, been mostly been dealing with smaller same day deliveries which can get a little stressful.
* Most of my time and efforts have been spent researching and thinking about the apartment hunting, it is the last piece of the puzzle! Though of course once I find a place, there'll be a whole new puzzle to start. I'm going to need furniture, set up utilities, Internet!!! .... I'll worry about all of this when I get there.
