Happy birthday!

YAY! I'll check out the full gallery when I'm done :)

The statue you didn't know about is from Fantasia (or possibly Fantasia 2000, I always confuse which scenes are from which movie...but I think the original).

The Easter decorations are adorable! An Easter Egg hunt sounds like so much fun!

I'm always surprised by the pin trading, but wonder if it's on the way out over here. I feel like it was more of a thing when people would wear their pass on a lanyard around their neck versus the new magic bands, but maybe I'm wrong. My general impression, though, is that each time we go, it's less of a thing.

I feel like we keep skipping Philharmagic when we go...I can't even remember the last time we went!

I kind of love that your dinner plates make a hidden Mickey :)

The electrical parade is my favorite too :)

He's Bacchus, from the first Fantasia, featured in the "Pastoral Symphony". Kind of a random character to pick for their collection, a Roman Party God LOL!

OMG YOU LOOK SO FREAKIN' CUTE IN THOSE EARS THOUGH! I'm glad you had such a fun birthday.

Ever since I spent those 3 days at Universal, I think I will always plan a few days at a single park. When I was a kid, we were always ONE DAY ONE PARK GO GO GO but having 2-3 days to just enjoy things and not feel like there is a time crunch is so nice. I'm looking forward to my Florida trip in June.

I can't quite make out Aurora's face but is the actress Japanese? I wondered how their casting went for things like that.

Going to go look at all your pretty pictures. OH and if you spot any exclusive Star Wars merch, please snap a photo!

Bacchus' donkey's name is Jacchus. Love it.

Which park are you thinking of in June, orangerful?

Now that you mention it, I'm curious about the face actor casting too.

Thanks!! Now that I have the answer, I think I've had to look up this sometime before XD LET'S BLAME AGE!

Heeeeeee, thanks!!

Haha I wish I had the budget/time to always plan a few days at the parks, but I enjoy the ritual of one day visits too! And I'm at the point now that I've been to the parks so many times, I don't really get too upset if there's something I miss out on.

I can't quite make out Aurora's face but is the actress Japanese? No, none of the face characters are Japanese. I'm not sure about the casting process, but as far as I know, all the face characters are imported from the US ( ... )

Thank you!

Aah, you know - the only thing I could think of was "... is it supposed to be that Roman wine god???" but I didn't make the Fantasia connection (... lol thanks art school, hahaha).

I'm looking forward to giving the Egg hunt a go! I saw a lot of people milling around with the maps looking absolutely perplexed, so I wonder what the difficulty level is like, haha.

Oh right, I keep forgetting the US parks have switched to those magic band things. They don't have that here, and I've not heard anything about the parks here switching over. The Japanese fans love to collect all sorts of Disney stuff, but the pins are always hidden away in some obscure corner of the smaller shops, and I've not really seen anyone wear them XD; Pass cases that you wear around your neck is a popular accessory at the parks here, and people use them for their Suica cards too (public transport)!

I kind of love that your dinner plates make a hidden Mickey :)I didn't notice this until I found a table and put down my tray XDDD It made me smile. Awww, ( ... )
