Second day of NSO-ing! The head NSO wanted everyone to be in the same positions as yesterday, so I was stuck with penalty box timer duties. I was so nervous! But it went OK, I wouldn't say I had more control over it than yesterday ... but it got a little easier. I even remembered to show the skaters where to sit 8D We encountered new things today, and learnt a lot (players fouling out (once you get 7 penalties, you're out of the game), two jammers in the box at the same time (which can't happen, so you have to release the first one even if they have time left, and the other jammer serves the same time as the first jammer .... RULES, MAN... etc). The head NSO must have been happy with our work, because he asked us if we were able to NSO the next two home bouts .... like, actual official WFTDA games. D: I'll think about it, hahahahhaha.
Have some random pictures that I found on Instagram! xD; I was too busy to take pictures of my own, unfortunately.
Someone on the Oslo team drew both teams' logos out with chalk! Everyone's so creative and talented ;____;
I'm just out of shot in the second pic. Those chairs are the penalty box! (well.. there are three more chairs, for the other team - the chairs I was keeping track of). The black jammer standing up in front of the chairs is waiting to be released from her penalty~
Aaaand I'm just out of shot in the group picture as well ..... typical. Maybe I'll manage to actually be in the next one.
We have practice again on Tuesday! Craziness! I've been so social and busy lately, it's starting to get to me. I feel a strong urge to just stay at home and do absolutely nothing for a couple of days .... I guess I do have to go to practice, though. It's only two hours, and in the evening. I can do it!
I can't believe I just spent a whole weekend doing sports stuff! What is happening to me????
