Bayo~
I finally got around to Bayonetta 2. I am so glad Nintendo picked this up, hohoho. Bayonetta was a huge favourite of mine, but I haven't revisited it like I thought I would. The main reason being that we got the first game for the Xbox when it first came out, and errr. Our Xbox is a noisy mess, it's my least favourite console for sure. I am so, so, so happy to have this action packed favourite on one of my favourite consoles now! With improvements and added bonuses!
Christian has never played the first one, so I got the WiiU bundle with both games. We fired it up, and I had no idea they'd created special Nintendo collaboration costumes. Have you guys seen them? They are incredibly detailed, and your choice of costume is shown in all the cut scenes - it's the final bit of crazy that really pushes the game right over the top. I love it. Christian chose the Princess Peach costume, the little Mario charm kills me in every single cut scene. ADORBS.
I feel like I'm making good progress, but I am too chicken shit to attempt online play. I think it's co-op, though, BUT IT DOESN'T MAKE IT ANY EASIER. I wish there was local co-op, that would have been aweeeesome.
I am on chapter 9 now, I think. I don't know how many chapters there are, and I don't want to know :D I just want to enjoy the game. Those verses when you're able to score pure platinum, aaaah. I live for those verses. What is your favourite weapon? I prefer the dual Rakshasa on both hands and feet. Probably much to do with my play style, though, and not so much due to power. I wonder if I'll ever get used to the underwater/flying boss fights.
