I think this is the first time I've been to Tokyo Disneyland on a sunny day! No rain or strong winds, actual blue skies and prettiness :D
This is my seventh visit to Tokyo Disneyland, and I ended up doing 3 new attractions is addition to all my old favorites. A very successful visit, the park was pretty crowded, but the longest wait we experienced was around an hour (for Pooh's Hunny Hunt). Most of the attractions we lined up for had a wait time of 20~30 minutes, and most of the wait times were shorter than announced, which matches up with previous experiences. We fastpassed Splash Mountain because we've learnt from previous experience that the wait is almost never shorter than 110 minutes and lol no. Splash Mountain is amazing, but not worth a 110 minute wait in a sticky, muggy fake cave xD so we fastpassed it, walked straight on (more or less) and got to ride in front! Omg. I don't think I've ever ridden in front on it before, it was so much fun! But kind of terrifying too, and we got the worst of the water splashing, hahahahha the couple sitting behind us felt sorry for us xD
I've yet to encounter any face characters while walking around the park. I'd love to meet Peter Pan (and play following the leader) or play musical chairs with Alice and the Mad Hatter. I see plenty of fur characters out and about, and all the face characters are present for the various parades, where a these face characters hiding when there aren't any parades on? Aaah, Disney wotas, help me out :|
List of attractions we got on:
Haunted Mansion (x4)
Snow White's Adventures
Pirates of the Caribbean
Tom Sawyer Island Rafts
Western River Railroad
Pinocchio's Daring Journey
Cinderella's Fairy Tale Hall
It's a Small World
Pooh's Hunny Hunt
Splash Mountain
Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin
StarJets
We also managed to catch most of the electrical parade while waiting in line for StarJets (one of the iconic attractions that I'd never been on before, it was scary, but so much fun!). We also caught bits of fireworks/castle event shows while walking by xD perfect.
Western River Railroad was another attraction I've never been on before. WHAT RANDOMNESS. REALLY, JUST WHAT EVEN. I think I enjoyed it more than Jungle Cruise :o
We fancied it up and had a three course dinner at Blue Bayou, the restaurant that is inside the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. The food was really good, and such fancy presentation! Not as delicious as the whale meat I had yesterday, though, but hey 8D best meal I've had at Disneyland for sure.
Inside the restaurant :D
Cinderella's Fairy Tale Hall is a walk through attraction inside the Cinderella castle. You're free to take your time and snap as many pictures as you like, it was very pretty and lots of fun :D
Snacks!
We were extremely disappointed to find that they no longer sell the world's best milkshake at Tom Sawyer Island. You could get plain regular milk, but no milkshakes. I got a frozen pineapple treat instead.
Tapioca drink! More commonly known as bubble tea. The tapioca bubbles were shaped like little Mickey heads o,o Disney foodstuffs! I also had a Mickey shaped churros and honey popcorn! :D
Lastly, today's damage, not too bad by my standards xDDDD
Cheshire cat ears, a Mickey t-shirt, and a desk calendar to brighten up my days at work next year :D
No harinezumi snaps from me today, I didn't want to carry too much stuff around. I brought my Natura and snapped lots of pictures with that. I'll get the prints developed and scan them when I get back home :D
Christian's digital snaps from today are
