My wardrobe is rather dark and boring at the moment. I need fun, office friendly clothes! Monki just sent out their summer catalogue, and I've been flipping through it for ideas. I love their creations, and it's all very affordable. I just need to get better at colour coordination, layering, and finding things that look flattering on me. I have a tendency to find something cute and buy it without trying it on or thinking about how it'll work with other items in my wardrobe.
Just a selection of things that caught my eye...
LOVE the pants with the birds ↓ . I've got a dress with the same print. The long, stripey dress looks adorable... but I wonder if I could pull it off. I guess it depends on how long it is. I know long dresses are "in" this year, but it's not cool to have your clothes drag behind you in the dirt as you walk. Aw yeah, being short is so awesome :[
I love how they've layered two pairs of socks ♥
Monki is currently having a sale on. I should go and see if I can pick up some of the winter/spring items I thought were too expensive the last time I was there!
I think I also should try ordering stuff from
modcloth. The skirts and dresses there are absolutely fabulous, and I'd love to order some. Kind of worried about things not fitting right, though. Anyone have any experience ordering clothes from there?
