djkjdgklalghdakjs the film geek in me is bouncing about giddy like a five year old on Christmas Eve. At the same time I look at this list and wonder how the hell I'll have time to see all of this. Hahahaha. Thank god having a real job = not having to worry about homework 8Db? I mean, seriously. Celebrating Vincent Price's 100th birthday, screening a bunch of Marx Brothers films AND squeezing in a bunch of other must see films? ahdfjahfkja. I'll put my membership to good use. Yes.
Random confession; I've never seen Edward Scissorhands. It keeps popping up, so I think I should go see it.
So excited about Apocalypse Now! :O I just saw Apocalypse Now: Redux for the first time earlier this year.. want to try catching the screening on the 27th, because Randy Thom - some famous sound designer - is going to be there to talk about how sound is used throughout the film, etc. Sounded interesting~
I'm so lulzing at Room in Rome, because the title and plot summary reminds me of Rochelle, Rochelle, the fake film that crops up a lot in Seinfeld.
Rochelle, Rochelle : "A young girl's strange, erotic journey from Milan to Minsk"
Room in Rome: "Two young women in a hotel room in Rome."
... reviews have been bland/bad, but I still want to see it. Despite (.. or because of?) any similarities it might have to Rochelle, Rochelle 8D.
