We've both recovered from the awful experience we had yesterday, and are in good spirits even though we didn't get our stuff back.
We could have gone to the police station to get insurance stuff fixed, but we'd probably have had to spend all day there, plus we would have been required to pay processing fees... not to mention the fact that the process itself would have taken ages, and we wouldn't have gotten much out of it anyway. We didn't want to spend our next to last day in Paris like that soooo whatever. What's lost is lost. There was nothing in there that can't be replaced, so why get all worked up about it? ^^
We spent the day walking around, spending "comfort-money" xD; I found stuff at BOOK-OFF (
Linda Linda Linda and
Monster vol. 2), and I scored myself a really cute bag at a 30% discount~ Good times ^_^ We'll hit MUJI tomorrow~ how annoying that the MUJI stores at home don't sell clothes!
We went and had dinner at the same ramen place we ate at yesterday. The staff recognised us, and were super happy that we came back :D I got to use my Japanese again, wheeee~ We'll probably go have lunch/dinner there before our flight on Friday. I'll remember to pick up their business card, and maybe I'll write them a happy e-mail, thanking them for all the delicious food comas I got to experience during my stay ^___^ We had Japanese curry-rice today, and it was just right. ♥ omnomnom. We need to learn how to make better curry-rice ^^;
Aaaand just now I've learned that Kaizers Orchestra are going to make a play based on the characters from their songs @_____@. It'll be co-written by Tore Renberg (author of Mannen som elsket Yngve), and they'll re-record music for the play. Aaaah. Excitement. I've always wished for a play set in the Kaizers' universe (and I know I'm not the only one), so this feels sort of unreal. The play is supposed to be ready in 2011, celebrating Kaizers' 10th anniversary as a band. I don't really know how, but I need to get to Rogaland theatre and see this play @____@
