I love how I keep being thrown opportunities to keep myself occupied despite having "nothing" to do these days.
Like... on my birthday I got a text message from my boss informing me that everyone at Edderkoppen had the opportunity to reserve free tickets to a stand-up show at Chat Noir (another theatre in town). I had plans to meet up with my mom yesterday, and I asked her if she wanted to go... she did and we went. It's just one of many good things about working at Edderkoppen, really :)
We got to see Evolusjon (Evolution) by Dagfinn Lyngbø, one of Norway's (in my opinion anyway) best stand-up comedians. I first saw some of his stuff on tv during secondary school or whenever, and I've been a fan ever since. It was fun to get to experience him live :D It was also a special occasion, because they were filming the show for a DVD that's coming out later sometime. My laughter will be on there~~~ ulululz. The show was great. I don't really know what to say about it apart from that. I had a good time. I enjoyed the theme and his derailings. Also have to respect a comedian who's able to smoothly work through a power outage during the middle of a joke! 8D Yes, it really happened~
Then today I decided to attend a Oslo SU (Socialist Youth League) meeting. I'm a member now, so yes~ better get involved! 8D It went on for three hours, but I had a good time. I got to see how these meetings usually work, met some new people, listened to speeches about welfare and housing, helped decide on a statement we're making about school budgets/financing... and hopefully I'll eventually get to build up some confidence when it comes to public speaking and such by continue going to these meetings. New meeting on Sunday, which I'm looking forward to. It'll be a meeting just for the local group that I'm a part of (Sentrum SU) and we'll decide on things we want to work for during this year. Plan actions, decide on a schedule and such :D Should be fun.
I think this election is going to be very interesting~ Aaand I think it'll be fun to help out with the election campaign. Even though I'm not sure I'll be voting for SV :x
OH and last but not least

Getting me the whole collectible set xDD; You crazy person ♥ Makes me want to bring parts of my old stamp collection over here to the apartment 8] Oh yes, I used to collect stamps when I was younger, had a pretty big collection too! Lots of collectable Disney stamps~ Heeeeee.
