I've had a pretty awesome day. Started a bit panicky with me missing class by oversleeping (A+ me), and then more panicking when I realised I still didn't have anyone to go to the Kaizers Orchestra concert with (for those not in the know, I bought tickets for me and Christian several months ago... then Christian had to go to Amsterdam to sort something out, and wasn't able to come back in time for the concert.. so I had a spare ticket to give away)
I'm shocked at how difficult it is to find people to go to a concert with! Jesus D: What's wrong with you people? *shakes fists* I've sent messages around for two days now asking people to come along.. XDDD;
Eventually found one early this afternoon. Ane Kathrine, a girl from work. I had no clue she was into Kaizers, but her message back to me when I asked if she was interested went something along the lines of "... FUCK YES!". I was happy, she was happy... it couldn't have been better.
I don't really know what to say. I danced until my legs couldn't bear me anymore. My back aches in ways I haven't felt it ache before, because this drunk girl hung over me for most of the concert. My throat is throbbing with sing-a-long joy, and it'll be interesting going to work tomorrow.
I made some new friends. Turns out Ane knew a couple of people who were going. They'd scored themselves front row spots, and saved us their second row positions. Aaah, awesomeness. Right in the middle. 8D No wonder I got a bit squashed. The set list was amazing. We didn't get Bris, which I was a bit disappointed about, but we got so many other goodies that it didn't really matter (Tokyo Ice, Den sjette sansen, Dekk bord, Medisin og Psykiatri, Fra sjåfør..., Die Polizei.....). We also got to see Janove and Terje kissing each other on the cheek while being back-up singers for Geir during Naade. It absolutely cracked me up XDDD; I hope people got good pictures of that.
I thought I'd collapse during Mann mot mann. I completely lost it, and danced like I've never danced before XD I looked to my right, and Ane was doing the exact same thing.. ahahah this after Janove had looked over to the direction where we were standing and asked if we had enough room to dance (we both (and several others as well) yelled "NOOOO!"). Janove then demonstrated the peacock-dance, which is a dance you can do by only moving your head 8D I guess me and Ane both thought "... screw that, I'm going to dance!". ♥
According to Janove, they set a new record by performing 23 songs for us. 23 songs! Jesus, really? It went by so fast :O
This is the fourth time I've seen them live this year... and I still want more. Aaah. They are the most amazing live band ever. Everyone should experience them at least once. It's pure musical bliss from start to end, and the magical moments stay with you forever.
