On Such A Nice Day~ :O
.. Sorry for the random disappearance XD O2 has kept me busy and entertained and made me neglect LJ somewhat. I guess Kingdom Hearts 2 has got something to do with it as well. Started it up last night and.. uhm. I've pretty much played non-stop ever since 8D;
I was also without internet Friday and Saturday, I went to my parent's place to let them know about my money trouble (they'll help me out, yay 8D) and because I was invited to a secondary school reunion party thing! Aaaahaha. Okay, so it wasn't a real reunion party, but I don't know what else to call it. Secondary school was kind of..special to me. It was without a doubt the worst three school-years of my life, but it's also where I got to know myself better and developed my interest for all things Japanese. And it's where I met some of my best friends :D
In my second year of secondary school I had had enough of being bullied and wanted to change class. See, this is one of the major differences with our school system from the American one (at least the one we're always presented with in TV shows or whatnot xD). Instead of signing up for different classes and being with different people in each class, we're sorted, seemingly randomly, into a set class of people which we take all classes with. The class I originally got sorted into was really bad. I only knew one other person, and though we used to be best friends she decided to ditch me completely. .... it's not a happy memory XD sooo the era of emo-Twiss began 8D But then I got to know suuzneko, nuinre and other girls in one of the other classes and things improved somewhat 8D; It got even better when I finally was allowed to switch over to their class (my mother wrote a couple of letters to the school and I had to sit through a couple of embarrassing meetings with various teachers, but I got my way in the end ^^;). And so I went from class 10A to 10B. I like to think that I became a completely different person XD The class was insane, though. We were 30~35 students in that class (so, clearly overbooked) and me and my friends made up a huge part of that class, we were a huge gang of girls always hanging together XD Lots of drama and loveliness to look back on now :P
SOOOOO. "The old gang" from 10B had a reunion party. Minus a couple of members who weren't invited due to drama and.. uhm various stuff.
It was.. really nice. I thought it would be weird, because well. I didn't think we'd have that much in common anymore, but wow. We had such a great time o_o; The party broke off around midnight, but I didn't really want to go home at that point XD;
We mostly talked about "the good old days", feeling really old as we did so (I did, at least), but other topics came up as well. Apparently most of us are still Harry Potter fans 8D Fun stuff.
What's really weird is that seeing all these people again made me feel more calm and relaxed about my Japan trip. I'm still nervous as hell, but some things doesn't seem as scary anymore. Your comments helped a lot as well XD I know I worry too much over silly things, but I wouldn't be me if I didn't 8D;

CAAAAAKE. Again.. I ate way too much T_T; Bente is awesome at making cakes, though. Wow.
Linn and Linda left after a while and Hilde joined us. Aaahah, too much fun.
It was really weird to see how everyone had changed, yet.. they were still all the same. Hilde is still the outgoing one who always has an amusing story or two up her sleeve. Linn is still provocative and kind of.. you never quite know where you've got her. Bente is still kind of reserved, but very opinionated and likes things to be old fashioned, like.. she still wants to live in a little cottage out in the woods xD she still loves green and she is still outraged by a lot of things that Linn say and do 8D. Anette is still the emotional one who manages to get caught up in drama a lot xD and Elisabeth still seems to have that tomboy/badgirl vibe about her.
I think Heidi, Grethe and I are the ones who have changed the most, but perhaps I only think that way because I still see both of them at a regular basis and I've sort of been around for all of their changes? Hmm.
Anyway.. it was a lot of fun. I regret losing contact with the rest of the girls, definitely going to try and keep in touch. We've all added each other on facebook so that's a lot easier now XDD Planning on seeing a movie sometime this week ♥
And this probably wasn't very interesting for you guys, but whatever XD There were no pictures of me from the party, so here are three random cam-whory pictures I randomly had on the memory card of my camera XD;

For those of you who likes good karaoke versions of summery songs, you should definitely check out Megami Melody's latest release! And for the first time in ages, I did a new solo project! So give that a listen if you're only interested in hearing me sing. Or.. whatever XD

And in Japan related news. I've now paid for my travel insurance and I've received my Certificate of Eligibility from Reitaku so I can go to the embassy and pick up my visa! :D
