Board game session with classmates today! Randomly decided over Facebook yesterday. It's actually the first social thing I've done together with classmates (apart from the party thing at the end of last semester). I think I've been viewed as anti-social and weird, but hopefully this will change that somewhat? Err. *should try to attend more stuff*
ANYWHOO. So much fun! *o*! We played
Arkham Horror, one of my favourite ameritrash games. Been ages since I played it last, so of course I didn't remember the rules all that well and neither did the other person who'd played it before. Go us. Took ages to get into the gameplay and get things right, had a lot of fun once we figured things out, though 8D We were the maximum number of players and played a full game. It took us about 6 hours or something like that. Whoo~~~ XD; Don't think any of us were prepared for it to take that long, but it was fun so I don't think anyone really cared? We'll be better prepared for that next time. Plus we'll know the rules and all that jazz. And perhaps make up some house-rules to make things more interesting, hmmm hmmm? xD
Hah. So finally at the end of my second semester of seeing these people every single day, I actually hang out with some of them and get to know them better. I suck at making friends T_T; Why, why, why have I been "avoiding" this until now? *facepalms* I seriously need to stop identifying myself or hiding myself behind the "oh, but I'm such a nervous, shy little girl"-persona that I've been steadily building up over the years. I know I can be so much better than that if I just let myself live a little T___T;
