I started giggling here. That house! I would say I'm sick of looking at that house, but it's just so... tacky that I find something new to giggle at every time.
Your Mia seems polite and moderately pleasant. Still a complete airhead, but Mia is always an improvement over Alice.
Kate! *Throws her chocolates.* (Minor quibble: Elliot would probably call Grace "Mom," not "Mum." I've seen "Ma" too, but for most northern-ish parts of the US, it's Mom.)
Grey was glaring at him, his eyes as friendly as a cobra’s.
This image made me smile... if only because Grey would love to have a natural marking on the top of his head that looked like a crown. Also, I have the sudden urge to sic Rikki-Tikki-Tavi on him.
*Squeals in Glee.* Officer Rayne!
The Walrus and The Carpenter better have all the oysters. Just sayin'.

Mia IS an improvement over Alice. And Kate is awesome.
Thanks for pointing the quibble out.
Haha, thought you'd like Officer Rayne's appearance!
Apparently they do have oysters.

It's only logical that the Walrus and the Carpenter have oysters. I would be surprised if they didn't.

Wow, thank you! The thing with the Mendozas is that they haven't actually been introduced into the original story yet and they won't be for some time. I wrote about them because I wanted to 'get to know' them as characters.
I did WHAT??? I never meant to do that! On the plus side, that means I've achieved what E.L. James couldn't.
Grey is a perfect example of what happens when dangerous Gift meets dangerous personality.
Oh, don't you worry. Grey is going to make a very big mistake in the next chapter, and SERIOUSLY anger the Mendozas (and, hopefully, the readers).
If you'd like to read the original story so far, I'll happily send you a link.
