The Orphan Works Act of 2008 has been officially presented to the House and the Senate. You can read the full text of the bill online in PDF format.

Thank you for the debunking link, I have transmitted it to a discussion thread on an art forum I'm on ( a US-based member had alerted us but the discussion had stopped after someone posted the Six Misconceptions Article). The thing is, can people in other countries do anything about it ?
