Supernatural 6.18
-First off, confession time: I am addicted to the Facebook game "FrontierVille." I even paused mid-way through this episode to go harvest my crops because I am a serious addict. I may require an intervention.
-I also love Justified -- I think it's about the best thing on TV right now, so this episode just feeds right into my happy place right now.
-6.18, really? So we have four episodes left? It's starting to feel like maybe they will tie some loose ends together and give us something of a satisfying conclusion. Mind you, I'm still not happy with all the time we wasted with the Campbells and Purgatory and so forth, but at least they've narrowed their focus down to a couple of elements and are making progress on both.
-Aww, previouslies that include the Devil's Trap! I loved those episodes and really miss season two. *sniff*
-But, the Old West!! My notes are just: ♥ ♥ ♥ etc. Hee.
-Hey, the Campbell's library. I'm glad they haven't simply been forgotten. There they are, helping from beyond the grave! I'll take what I can get.
-Oh man, back to the angels and the invisi-war and exposition about the stuff I don't care about. Make. It. Stop.
-Heh, Dean went cos-shopping! He really should have taken his boyfriend, they would have been so cute in the little country dress-up store together.
-I wonder if they had a stunt person step in the poo for Jared? Yeah, I can't watch TV shows without wondering about this sort of thing. I'M SORRY.
-You know what this feels like? The Old West holodeck stimulation on the Enterprise. I keep expecting Data to pop in.
-Oh har har har, a less-than-professionally-pretty woman. How dare such a creature exist, much less put the moves on one of the stars? Let's all join together in mocking her!
-Ahem. Sorry. Moving on.
-Oh, more angels fighting angels... okay. At least it was quick. Back to the Old West!
-Sheriff Dean, LOL. He would have made a damn good sheriff in another time and place for certain.
-Sam, don't give Cook the Book of Spoilers!! Don't you watch Doctor Who??

-Okay, so angels DO draw energy from human souls just as so many people have been speculating. We're like little battery packs for them, huh?
-Cas is evil now? I don't buy it. For one thing that would mean that his time on this show is just about done and I don't believe the show runners are any more likely to cut him from the cast than they are Sam or Dean.
-You know, I really appreciate the lack of angst over the Mother of Whatever. They're just doing their jobs, gathering intel and materials and preparing to take care of business like the awesome professional hunters I used to know. This pleases me.
-Yay Old West!
