Let's see, this break so far...
Applying to grad schools sucks exactly as much as I thought it would. I turned in my Boston University application yesterday. Still to come: Columbia, UW Madison, possibly Pitt and RIT. Boooooo.
Have you guys heard of the show World's Strictest Parents? Basically it's a reality show (and you know how I feel about those...) on CMT where two "out-of-control teens" go live with a strict family for a week and turn their lives around. Well, the strict family on the show this week happens to live in a shitty little town near me, and they had a watch party at the bar the dad owns. Guess who got to go to it? ME! And my parents. FYI, World's Strictest Mom loved me. I told her she was living my dream and she kept coming back and putting her arm around me and asking how I was liking the show. World's Strictest Dad spent most of the show knocking back beers at the next table. It was kind of the best day of my life. (There should be pics on Facebook soon.) Today begins the epic WoW experiment. Yeah, I'm caving and running the 10-day free trial with some folks from school. Then we're going to quit WoW forever. Seriously. 10 days, then no more days. God, I hope I don't end up addicted.
So that's pretty much it. I kind of hate break.
