Juliet didn't make a habit out of going into the boys' bathroom or anything. That would be skanky. It was just, sometimes in the morning you realized were out of the good hair gel and needed to borrow your brother's, and you couldn't find him so you decided to see if maybe he'd left it lying around.

"Jules, I think I'm out of the good hair gel," Jeremy announced as he made his way into her room with a perfunctory knock after he'd already opened the door. "Can I borrow some from you?"

Great twin minds.

"You could if I had any," Juliet said, slightly pouting. "I'm out too. I was trying to find you to see if I could get yours and I went into the boys' room. You guys are gross."

Jeremy gave her a confused look as he flopped down on the foot of her bed. "Why? What'd we do?"

"There's a whole poster full of phone numbers, science jokes, and drawings of anatomy," Juliet intimated, then realized how it might sound. "...I didn't stay there and stare at it or anything!"

"Seriously?" Jeremy asked. "Dude, I didn't even notice!" Because he was just about the most oblivious person in the world, sometimes. "Just as well, I guess, if there were science jokes. Except if they were astronomy jokes, those could've been pretty sweet."

Juliet smirked. "I don't think there were astronomy jokes," she said, though all science kind of read like blah-blah-blah to her. "...wait, do you know astronomy jokes?"

She kind of wanted to hear one if he did.

"No." Well, he knew a few rude ones involving Uranus, but one of the girls he'd kinda sorta been seeing at their last school had informed him those weren't funny. "But I could have learned one if there'd been any!"

"It was mostly cat drawings," Juliet informed him. "... hey, how were things with George?"

She had the attention span of a gnat. A gnat who listened to radio.

Well, there was only so much conversation to be had about bathroom walls and besides, this was a much better topic.

A pleased smirk spread across Jeremy's face. "Maximum," he said. "I mean, Fandom weird aside because all they had for forks and knives were plastic kiddie stuff? But George was awesome."

"Yeah, what was with that?" Juliet wondered. "I practically had to take apart my closet door to get it open."

Oh, right. Date. "What kind of awesome?"

"Makeout awesome?" Jeremy had no shame. He had a lot of smugness to go around, though. "She's fun."
