ok, this is really shocking and very sad. but it took me a few minutes to realize that, by some stroke of random spontaneity, i will be at their very last show, ever. EVER EVER. i decided a couple of months ago that i would spend a crapload of money and fly to chicago for lollapalooza. so i bought a concert ticket and a plane ticket, and now look at what a perfect plan that turned out to be.
sleater-kinney has been my favorite band for a long time. their music, and the band members themselves, have been a huge influence and inspiration. this is a really big deal to me, and i am so thankful that i actually get to see their very last show ever.

EDIT: Okay, this is actuallly not their last show. it's their 2nd to last. but i still feel lucky!!
