There hasn't been much activity here as my fandom interest diverged from the Potter universe, but there have been a fair number of membership requests lately. I am perfectly happy to add members as long as their 18+ status is easily verifiable in their bio. (If you have only month and day viewable, I cannot tell your age.)
Many people in fandom do not want their social media linked to their real-life identities, so we also request that members use a livejournal or dreamwidth account, rather than twitter or facebook.
If you applied and haven't been granted membership, chances are that's why.
