HoochFEST version 2.0
What a weekend. Ted and Barb left for Boston Friday afternoon. So Friday night there was a lot of drinking and smoking over here, and then over at Gillespie's, who was also blessed with absent parents. Saturday, however, was The Real Deal: HoochFEST v.2.0. I won't get into all the details here, partly because there are too many, partly because I don't remember a lot of them, and partly because I want to retain a sense of mystery about the whole sordid affair. I will say that there was a lot of drinking (1 keg and 4 cases of beer, 2 half gallons (which is 1 gallon for you math majors out there) of vodka, half a gallon of Jim Beam, a fifth of Southern Comfort, and a fifth of Jack Daniel's. However, the evening left myself and Kevin (Official Co-Host) with a bit of a dilemma on Sunday morning: there were still more than 20 beers left. So, I spent yesterday afternoon with Kevin at my house pounding beers. Needless to say, I feel pretty rough today. Lord have mercy!
