Are we still in Kansas toto?
We now have a tree house. The wind tunnel came in side ways last night around 7pm. I never saw such strong winds before. Branches were being ripped from trees and trash barrels flying around. Our swing on the porch turned up side down. And then a 200 year old tree on the right side of our house was pulled out by the roots and toppled into the house. The wind tore up the side walk,cement borders(very very old) it all buckled and up came the tree and then down onto the roof. All tangled in wires. And I mean this is a huge tree. It's sad to lose such a pretty part of nature. So far we don't really know the extent of our damage. The ceiling in our bedroom is leaking and REM saw part of the tree in the attic. I hear that Brockton got hit pretty bad. Trees blocking roads and glass everywhere. I hope that people were not injured. Well it's house insurance time. Let's see what they come up with.
