Bought a new laptop this past weekend. The sound on my old one finally died after a lengthly struggle. My new Sony Vaio features a blue-ray player with 1080p HD, 2 GB RAM and a cool 250 GB hard drive. Although I must say so far, I'm not a fan of Windows Vista. Too many unnecessary changes from XP plus i'm having problems recording with Cool Edit Pro which i'm gonna have to somehow fix. But all in all, i'm very happy with the new lappy and Sony computers in general (the best looking and best designed laptops, in my opinion).
Speaking of recording, I can still record on my old computer since the sound goes through USB rather than the speaker input. I have been working on a top-secret song which I will only unveil when it's done. But I will say this, it's an R&B song with guitar in place of lyrics, it's one of the most popular songs of the year by one of the best producers in the music industry. It's still a work in progress but so far I have to say it sounds pretty good so stay tuned...
Watching a Jays game this year has become the most FRUSTRATING experience. They are so unable to score runs that it's at the point where once the other team goes up by 1 or 2 runs you know the Jays will lose the game. What's even more frustrating is that they finally have a great pitching staff with one of the best starting rotations in baseball, but they still end up losing games by like 1 or 2 runs. After all the past years of having great hitting but no pitching, they FINALLY have great pitching but no hitting. Rod Barajas should NEVER be leading a team in batting average. JP needs to make some moves or we're headed to another disappointing .500 season. I suggest an upgrade at first base (Overbay is average at best) and left field (should've never have gotten rid of Reed Johnson.)
