Wrench of Inspiration #42
Thanks so much for everyone's participation in last issue's Round Robin. It's still ongoing, so anyone can participate. Rules are here.
And on to the prompts of Issue #42 (The Alliterative Issue)!
1. A Song... Save the Hero by Beyonce. Lyrics here.
2. A Subject... We tend to write a lot of romance between our favorite characters. Let's face it...they're super hot together! But why not some friendship, or just day to day interactions? Hell, even pure animosity! The challenge is to write a completely NON-romantic piece between our favorite trio. Any length, any continuity, just no romance.
3. A sonnet...
"When in disgrace with fortune and men's eyes,
I all alone beweep my outcast state,
And trouble deaf heaven with my bootless cries,
And look upon myself and curse my fate,
Wishing me like to one more rich in hope,
Featured like him, like him with friends possessed,
Desiring this man's art, and that man's scope,

Yet in these thoughts myself almost despising,
Haply I think on thee, and then my state,
Like to the lark at break of day arising
From sullen earth, sings hymns at heaven's gate;

There are no time limits involved, and there have been some pretty awesome prompts in earlier issues, especially kinky prompts in the comments.
