This style of layout is actually the easiest to change in coding so I think the basic layout's going to remain the same. It should be very easy to add in a header or background image and tweak the colors in the future. Is it acceptable for reading fics for the moment? Keep in mind that one can also click the 'view in own style' at the top to read something in your journal's style so it's easy on the eyes!
