So yesterday was Valentines Day. A day where everyone shows off their special someone by public displays of affection, acts that they would, I hope, normally not do in front of... well, anyone. It is also a day to consume large amounts of candy. The latter is how I celebrated the occasion.
While I was munching on the ever-popular conversation heart candies I found an interesting message:
As you can see, it is clearly asking someone to chop it to pieces, and since these candies generally have phrases people say to each other, they must have a pretty depressed person working at the candy factory. (I also found one that said "mug me" but I'm pretty sure it was just a typo or something.)
Practice
For the time being, badminton practice has, annoyingly, been scheduled on seemingly random days. This will last until basketball season is officially over, next week I believe. Meaning that, not only are our practices short, but the basketball players often come into the gym and watch until they get to play.
So yesterday, during practice, my sister and I were playing doubles when half of the guys basketball team comes in and stands in the corner. We look at each other and continue playing. But soon they start joking around, obviously bored. It was getting pretty distracting, until they start changing into their uniforms. Yes, they were literally stripping down to their boxers in the gym. By then it was undeniably distracting, as in, we couldn't play without messing up, we were cracking up so bad. The worst part was, they weren't terribly attractive or anything, they just thought they were.
I'm sure I'll have some more trivial things to make a big deal out of a little later, this simple fact displaying how boring a life I lead. So look forward to it!
