well! life's been busy lately!! cj came up to see me :) :) :). kinda crazy, it was werid to figure out how much time has really passed. however, it was definitely still him...i wonder if im still the me he remembers...or at least somewhat similar. it was a great time even though it was super low key. im glad i finally got to see him.
then...i went camping with shannon!!! wow! that was so cool! SO MUCH FUN!!! i started a fire and had to keep it going, i learned how to cook in the embers of a fire (it was a rather trial and error process..hehehe...but that will remain shannon's and my secret :) ), went on the most interesting and fun canoe trip ever. it was beautiful on the river, away from civilization. but the river was full of logs and other tree debris so it was more like an obstacle course and of course sometimes we hit the logs and then it was 1..2..3..PUSH!! lol, good times.
today was low key now that all the exciting stuff has happened, but i went over to sandhya's to plan our trip to chicago :) that should be a good time but it should be interesting to see how it goes.
however, i have to say im ready to go back to school and see everyone. im really suprised as to the people i really want to see the most. of course, caitie and james are at the top of the list but the rest is rather interesting. im looking forward to getting together with dan and cooking and having one of our 4 hour discussions on life and the world and whatever else can possibly come up. he really is one of the most interesting people i have ever met even if sometimes he's a little radical, but people with strong views often tend to be. im looking forward to getting the room all situated with lindsey and taking her out to parties and helping to indoctorinate her to the life outside of homework :) im looking forward to seeing how the house is this year...ive come to learn that i never really know what to expect from it, but it all seems to come out well in the end.
ah well, it all comes soon enough and for now i relish in the company of my friends and family whom i will be distanced from shortly.
