Happy Holidays everyone!
Here is my holiday rundown:
-Christmas Eve at my parents was just amazing! My dad put togeather a HUGE Italian buffet and I got a lot of nice gifts.
-Christmas day was HELL!!! 1) Ben stepped on his new glasses and broke them, there goes $500. 2) In the Starbucks drivethru Ben's car decided to die on us. We had to push it into a parking spot and my dad came to try and jump it. Didn't work, so we had to leave it there and get it towed the next day. 3) Then... as if my day wasn't worse enough we had to go to the ER because Ben's father almost cut off 8 of his fingers because their garage door came smashing down. Great!
The day after Christmas was fine though. I went to work and made double time and a half. After work Ben wanted to look at new cars and he ended up buying a Scion XA for a good deal. He also got the salesman to throw in free oil changes for LIFE! Sweet ass deal there! So after spending 6 hours at the dealership we went out to dinner at Red Lobster and Ben ended up getting sick :(
Yesterday I worked again for double time and a half then just lounged around the house and Ben had some friends from Eau Claire over.
Last night my sister didn't have such a good one though. 1) She got a speeding ticket when she was rushing her pregnant friend home because she wasn't doing very well. 2) She got a GUN PULLED ON HER!!! WTF!!! There was a guy at a stoplight that came up to her car and flashed a gun at her so Katie sped off and the guy fired his gun and threw shit at her car. Now that's just a LITTLE scarry!
Poor kid!
